Locations and their Waterfalls

Firehole Falls

Firehole Falls in Yellowstone National Park will always be one of my favorites that I got to shoot. Its name "Firehole" comes from the river that flows down the falls. Firehole river. The river was given that name by early trappers who noticed that the river steams due to the volcanic activity that flows right into the river itself. The falls have much more of a steam effect instead of the normal mist.

Multnomah Falls

Located in Oregon, It's the states tallest waterfall standing at six hundred and twenty feet. It's plummeting drop creates a roaring sound and a wave of mist that covers everything surrounding it in a thick coat of moss.

Gibbon Falls

Beautiful to say the least. Named after a Civil War veteran John Gibbon, Gibbon falls is the epidemy of raw and real beauty. It describes Yellowstone beautifully with its cascading falls and its western feel.

Snow Creek Falls

Located in my home state Idaho, this little collection of waterfalls is the best place for a quick little reconnection to nature in the true PNW.
